Stopmotion is a Free Software application for creating stop-motion animated movies. It lets you create an animation from pictures captured from a webcam, a videocamera or from pictures imported from the harddrive, add sound effects and export a file.

Excellent app once it is installed. The installation is a bit tricky using git, as I get a message stating the app needs an updated sources.list. I added dependencies manually the last time I installed it but am going to work through the error to find the solution this time.
