    Nice kit. My HF+ Discovery works ootb with GQRX, but I cannot get Cubic to recognize it. I am most likely not giving it the address it needs in the correct format....heading to bed. Just thought about checking to be sure default user is in dialout group. Let me know if you have any hints. Thanks for your efforts!

    I'm sorry, I don't know what the problem could be. I'll look into it but I don't have the hardware to test that with. If you find a solution I would be happy to fix the issue in the next release. I'm glad you're enjoying the rest of it.

    It seems that the issue may be resolved by upgrading CubicSDR. This will be done is the next release, coming shortly. Thanks again.

    Yup- that's it.... latest version (0.2.5) is the only one to support the HF+.... also- word on the street is there are changes coming to GQQRX, with some new colors, some performance improvements. Building from source to get them at this point. Interesting times in SDR!
    Thanks again!!

        Yep that's the first thing I tried.

        ubuntu@sdrlive:~$ su
        Password: ubuntu
        su: Authentication failure
        ubuntu@sdrlive:~$

    Hello,
    There is no root password.
    If you need to execute root command use (using 'ubuntu' for pwd prompt):
    $ sudo <command>
    For a root console you can use (using 'ubuntu' for pwd prompt):
    $ sudo su
    And if you really want to set a root password use (using 'ubuntu' for pwd prompt):
    $ sudo passwd root

    Glad you're enjoying the cd. ;)
