In LinLibertineTTF_5.3.0_2012_07_02.tgz the font LinLibertine_RZah.ttf has a slightly misshapen dot over the lowercase i. Attached is an image generated by POVray, which can turn truetype fonts into 3-D objects. seen from "below,", the flaw in the dot is shown. The dot was supposed to generate a cylindrical shape, but an angle or crease which runs the length of this cylinder is visible. By comparison, the font LinLibertine_RBah.ttf taken from the same zipfile has no such flaw.
I just tried to check whether this has been addressed in the Libertinus fonts fork, but am unable to confirm your report for Linux Libertine. The file ending RZah.tff is the Serif Semibold. I just opened that font and looked at the drawning itself, and the outline of the dot okay—a perfect circl If there is still a corresponding issue in Libertinus I'd be happy to fix it, but first I'd need your to actually identify what the issue is (and which font) and open an issue in our tracker.
