LAC's cockpit should constantly advertise a "Framerate" of about 60 FPS in flight. Other online documents and forum threads provide abundant guidance on increasing your frame rate if your hardware struggles with our default resolution, graphic distance, and detail settings.

On the other hand, people with powerful, "gaming-class" video hardware sometimes report frame rates far in excess of 60FPS (we recently got a report complaining about 500 FPS). Such extremely high frame rates can trigger errors in the mathematics of LAC's flight model, resulting in crazy, bizarre, or "unflyable" flight.
