New Version Lac08p87 available for download

    I just published a new version of LAC, designated "Lac08p87" (or just 8.87) in our experimental downloads area for beta testing according to the usual pattern. Here's the link to that page:

    This new version is identical to version 8.85 but the lethality of machine guns and cannons has been increased. You can learn more about the changes from our online ChangeLog page here:

    The change in lethality is significant, and it WILL affect the online community. Please send feedback as to whether you like it or not (and if you think we've taken it too far).

    Linux Air Combat Version 8.87 is still in beta test. We just enhanced that beta test version a bit. Tracer bullets and bot flight have both been improved. As always, you can learn the status of every version from our online ChangeLog here:

    Linux Air Combat Version 8.87 has been PROMOTED from "Beta Test" to "Production" status. Now you can download it from our main "Files" archive area here on sourceforge.net according to the usual pattern. Here's a direct link:
