After many attempts I finally beat Mission 2 (no battleships) on single player. My daughter (who is a WWII airplane buff) got a model of the B-25 Mitchell, and we found a documentary on it. That plane is basically a flying tank , a precusor to the A-10 Worthog. LAC has that modeled so I gave it a go. Took a few tries to get past the AAA, but it had just the right combination of armorment and durability to make effective low alt rocket, bombing, and strafing runs to take out enemy HQ . Will try Mission 1 with battleships next.

That put a smile on my face! Were you in combat versus the replay bots when you prevailed versus Mission 2?
(I have been out of town and unable to tend to the replay bot server as much as I would have liked, so they have been AWOL some of the time. When they are active, they fly for the RedTeam and constantly whittle away at the BlueTeam, making a solo BlueTeam victory even more difficult.)
Like me, most of LAC's beta testers LOVE the B25 because of its devastating gun package. With all of its forward-firing guns active, it can almost slice a destroyer in half.

Thanks for that B25 movie link. You're right; that was a very fun movie clip and it made me proud to have the B25 among our little LAC air force! Will we see your daughter flying with you anytime soon?
