When I release the next LAC update in early December 2020 you will see that one of the ten missions formerly labeled "TEST" will have gone to "Production" status!
I refer to "Peabody's Mission", which features TWO strongly defended airfields for each team instead of just one. Victory for either side requires destruction of BOTH strong enemy airfields. You will even notice that each team also gets a new artillery battery adjacent their most forward airfield, making it a lot more dangerous for nearby opposition.
Peabody's Mission takes place in a rugged, forested, lake-dotted, mountainous terrain in which it is possible to dip down into canyons and avoid RADAR tracking.
As a consequence of these developments, Peabody's Mission brings a whole new level of tactical complexity to LAC players. It is very difficult for a single player to prevail in this mission; it tends to demand coordinated team play, and victory may require several hours of effort if it is opposed by other players.
Here is a YouTube PlayList showing Peabody's Mission in action. The first three video clips in this list were recorded as the mission was ALMOST perfected, but BEFORE we enhanced its RADAR logic fully, so it was possible to use RADAR to track low-flying aircraft. Don't be fooled by that; The upcoming December version of LAC will NOT allow defenders to use RADAR to track opposing aircraft that fly down in the canyons.
I just enhanced that YouTube PlayList with two more clips showing "Peabody's Mission" in action with three live BlueTeam players opposed by five "Replay Blokes". Improvements in the realism of RADAR are illustrated, since aircraft flying down in deep canyons or otherwise below RADAR detection altitude are now invisible to RADAR. Use the same link. Here it is again for reference:
