New beta-test version 9.33 now available for download

We just published beta-test AppImage version 9.33 for download from our SourceForge beta-test page here:

This version takes a unique approach to fixing the mysterious new bug described here:

Note that this bug does NOT affect most people. It has only appeared very recently, on a few desktop LINUX distros, after users apply a very recent set of patches. When this bug is present, it renders LAC's menus useless. Although all of LAC's menu buttons are displayed, none of them respond to mouse clicks or to any other attempts to activate them. Click, click, CLICK...... nothing! It's very frustrating.

If you are suffering from that bug, please give this new beta test version 9.33 a try and let us know what you think of this rather radical new approach.

If you are NOT suffering from that bug, it should be harmless to upgrade to this new version, but you won't find any new features or substantive changes since version 9.15, originally published in May of 2023.

We just retired that Beta-Test version 9.33 and replaced it with Beta-Test version 9.37, which also fixes a serious bug that was really hurting people that must use mouse-based flight controls because they don't have a hardware joystick or a console game controller.
