I successfully compiled this verson on my Ubuntu system (Kaby Lake CPU, 16gb DDR4 RAM, Radeon 570 card, SSD). I have all of the graphics settings maxed out and the sim still runs above 60fps. Got a couple of segmentation faults but have not had time to check out any logs.
Really like the cockpit sound effects and radio chatter. Still trying to figure out the missions and navigation.

Hi Chief! Welcome to LAC. Thanks for your supportive comments. One of your questions indicated a problem with water levels in the ocean missions. Usually this means your copy of the hidden ~home/.LAC/DefaultHeightMap.LAC file is missing. Normally this file is copied into the hidden ~home/.LAC folder by the "install.sh" script, but you can copy it there manually if you prefer. Have you already fixed that?
Which version of LAC are you using?
