On the networked mission 1, the world water level is too high on my build. The runways are below the water line and I need to start the mission at the furthest base as on the other 2 start points I emerge at the waterline and instantly crash. I did copy over all of the high quality models before I ran that mission so I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Is there a local setting to control the water level?

Usually this means your copy of the hidden ~home/.LAC/DefaultHeightMap.LAC file is missing. Normally this file is copied into the hidden ~home/.LAC folder by the "install.sh" script, but you can copy it there manually if you prefer. Have you already fixed that?

This is a fairly common problem. I think it is commonplace because the requirement to run the "install.sh" script is not obvious. Players that run "install.sh" should never suffer from this problem. If that script is not run, LAC will automagically attempt to install all of the requisite files. I know all of this logic works at least MOST of the time, but perhaps there is some bug that sometimes prevents succesful handling of that DefaultHeightMap.LAC file. I'll look into that.
I'm glad you fixed it by copying the file into place.

I'll check that out later tonight, thanks

That was it. Fixed.
