Early beta testing of new AppImage version 8.81 has been so successful that we've decided it is ready for widespread use. This catches our AppImage option up with version 8.79 (the latest and greatest) as of this writing on 04Aug2022. You can see a description of the corresponding, new features at the bottom of our online ChangeLog here:

As with all of our AppImage distributions, this does NOT include source code because it is already compiled according to the well-known "AppImage" conventions for binary compatibility with all of the most popular desktop LINUX distros using industry-standard "X86" architecture.
