We just released new version 8.89 for early beta testing. This version fixes some bugs in the joystick handling of USB console game controllers like those in use on "XBOX" and similar gaming consoles. As and option, it can even be configured for practical use in environments where no keyboard is available during flight, like Valve Corporation's "Steam Deck" portable console gaming PC.
This new version departs from our legacy versions a bit more than usual, and we'll need awhile to get all of the associated documentation completed and optimized. Consult our "Flight Control Hardware (Joysticks etc.)" forum and the newest entries at the bottom of our online ChangeLog for more details.

For the Valve Steam Deck, Version 8.89 (described above) has been replaced by updated AppImage versions 8.95SD (In production right now). The configuration is optimized for Steam Deck by default. Here's a web page with updated information:
