1394... firewire... usb

greetings and salutations,

i am the new editor at a telecommunications consulting firm known as igi
(aka information gatekeepers).
i write and edit a newsletter that deals exclusively with 1394, firewire,
and the usb.  However, i am having an extremely difficult time acquiring
enough information to include in the newsletter, so i was wondering if
anyone knew of any sources or contacts.. or information, in and of itself,
in regards to this elusive piece of technology.
