The GUID is also not initialized (not read from the serial EEPROM).

I just hat a glance at NECs web site and the UPD72874's spec but did not 
spot anything enlightening. However, that chip should work with Linux 
according to what other users posted on the net. Maybe you should try 
different kernel configuration options with respect to ACPI.
