Did you see the stuff about backlight and contrast I recently checked into
fbmem.c in the ioctl part?  Right now nothing #defines
CONFIG_BACKLIGHT_CONTRAST.  It is more of an RFC at this point.

I just committed a couple other files to show how it relates to
platform-specific setup, using the Nec Osprey as an example.
