I'm not so sure, as I also have a libpt-plugins-v4l2, which is used for
the old non-ekiga version of gnomemeeting. But although that lib
supports v4l2, it does not seem to work with the QC5000. Support for
these cameras was added in CVS only recently. 

But, hey, try it and see :-)
