I don't know about Ubuntu 5.10, but the Debian packages changed to
linux-headers-... last summer or so. The linux-headers-... (or
kernel-headers-... if your system is a bit older) package should be
enough. 

Also, don't mistake this for the userspace headers, which are in
"linux-kernel-headers", and will not work for compiling modules.
