Marc, Thank you for outlining all relevant problems, I currently experience solving the project I am involved with. There are two difficulties I experience: 1. I could NOT build the linux-atm 2.4.1 package, because I could not include automake version 1.7.8 as the legitimate automake tool. It asks (?) for 1.6 version!? 2. BR2684. I need namely this to accomplish DSLAM line card on telephone switch. This is what is NOT included, as outlined in original email, in ANY release version of linux-atm. So, what is the solution to the problem? Should I include it in the current kernel 2.4.20 features I am using br2684 feature (which I did from the very beginning)? What are the implications of doing that? Could you, Marc, or anybody else a bit more elaborate on: "To include br2684 in my package in a clean way, I have pulled the br2684 subdirectory from CVS and have put it into my source tree in the appropriate place." Thank you very much in advance, Best Regards, Zoran Stojsavljevic DKTS Pupin Telecom email: zor...@dk... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Marc Haber" <mh+...@zu...> To: <lin...@li...> Sent: Sunday, October 19, 2003 9:03 PM Subject: [Linux-ATM-General] autoconf/automake problem with br2684 on Debian GNU/Linux > Hi, > > I am the maintainer for Debian's linux-atm package.
