I succeeded in getting it working the "old fasioned" way, but out of curiosity, precisely where does the linux-atm tools source that is "shipped with Fedore Core 4" reside in the installed file system?? I have poked around down in /usr/src/redhat and don't seem to see it. When I did the install I selected "Everything" on the package menu. The init script I have been using for years to start ilmid, atmsigd and zeppelin seemed to work fine as was.
