great news - can you give me your new dmesg output (dont need to reboot 
etc, shoudl be able to run 'dmesg' command under Linux and dump the outout
to an AFFS partition and then email the info to me when you next enter
AmigaOS world - as you dont have networking under APUS)

regarding Ethernet PCMCI (APNE driver) I'm aware of some new issue with 
this - could you try the most recent (date string) 2.4.13 kernel
and the 2.4.17 kernel.  we're looking/working on the APNE - unfortunately,
as is often the case, I dont have such a card anymore - having sold it 
last year :-|
