new bootstrap line

Hi,
I have recently altered my hard drive by creating an extra partition.
This has meant that my bootstrap line is now incorrect as my Linux partition is now on the tenth partition and not the ninth.
What should I change the 9 in the line below to. is it "10" or "a" as in hexadecimal.

bootstrap --apus -k vmapus-2.4.4 -v root=/dev/hda9 video=amifb:off video=pm2fb:mode:1024x768-75 ide=doubler -d debug=mem 

Any help would be great.
