ppp support

Hi!

I was wondering what has happened to the development of my ppp problem. As
you might remember I have been unable to connect to the internet with
Debian3.0 and as someone mentioned this could be due to a software problem
or it could be a hardware problem but I hope not.

When will a newer kernel be released? Currently I'm using 2.4.18-apus kernel
and I have managed to get sound working a while ago, but the graphics
doesn't work yet. I should have a CybervisionPPC connected by the end of
next week if nothing goes wrong, then I will hopefully get some graphics
too =).

Please, have anyone successfully got internet access working with this
kernel?
