I have the same problem as you, and I'm using the same files (Debian
woody). I get an error message that linux.bin is too big to uncompress,
but I haven't had any time to test things out further. I know though that
linux.bin is compressed with gzip. Maybe you can test uncompressing it and
report if it works better :)
