Hi, I don't rellay remember what h/w you had. Do you have any form of PCI board? I remember having a similar problem with my A1200 (without PCI h/w) I think I recompiled a minimal kernel without any form of PCI support in it, can't really remember.. Try to get your hands on an 'minimal' kernel, if you can't find one I can put mine avalible on the webb or something.. /Cheers... /shoe - UNIX _IS_ user friendly, its just picky about who its friends are...
