Hi all, I have a number of Linux format Cd's and would like to use some of the programs on my AmigaPPC running Debian Linux. I have not yet compiled any software from source, I am unsure where to find out how. I don't know whether I need source suitable for my PPC. I need the whole process explaining in a simple manner, with my PPC in mind, I assume x86 code is useless for me? Can anyone help or point me in the direction of some simple tutorials on how to do this. As an example I have the source for Opera 6 (off a LF CD) and would like to get this software to run on my system. I have a slow online connection, so I don't really want to have to download debs unless that's the only way. Anyway I want to be able to do this myself.
