My Debian potato is almost working, I will use it as a departure
system for an upgrade to Woody (need some guidance to do that) ...

At least I got rid of my venerable amifb 1084S screen, when installing
... ;))), no I'm doing it in a modern monitor, 15" not the best I have
but I had a problem with my 17", and I think it's defunct :(

So, I think I have to learn Debian quickly. 
BTW you allways use apt-get to install upgrades, and in the case of a
new Apus kernel, how do I upgrade it ?
