Hi, I think I found a bug in latest bootstrap, after initialazing everything and arriving to the fb section, executes BusyBOX v. 060-3, then it aborts with error "Bogl can't find screen type" (it must be a bug), because I've tried with every single screen mode my Cybervison643D has and end up with the same result, my question is this program calls screenmodes on various cards, (amifb works), but virge doesn't, so is the CV643D missing ? I've tried many times to install Woody, but always got the same error, while initialising the installation proccess. Now I'm trying with potato, but the kernel doesn't recognize my network card, an X-Surf, and I dl all the main directory from ftp.debian.org using wget -r to an Amiga partition, but when it tries to find the .deb packages, fails and exits with error ie." * * * Failed to fetch : file:/mnt/hde6/debian/dists/potato/main/binary-powerpc/mail/xmh-3.3.6-11potato32.deb // many lines like this E:Unable to fetch some archives, maybe try with -fix--missing? Some errors occured while unpacking. I'm going to configure the packages that where installed ... and so forth" I noticed that missing packages are symlinks , are they pointing somewhere else ? Should I create those directories as well ? Regards, Rick Amiga 1200T PPC 040 25 Mhz 603e 175 Mhz 64 Mb RAM X-Surf, CyberVision3D |
