The tail of the XFree log is below, i boot with the following options:
root=3D/dev/hda4 video=3Damifb:vga 60nsram

The problems Dion seems to be having look alot like mine, the screen
blanks for a second, then dropping back to the console. The two
XF86Cofig-4 files i have used are from the APUS site, both with the
same result. Should these work directly on AGA, or only on BVisions?
