Hi, I am trying to compile some apps, because the LinuxPPC 2000 installer did= n't install kernel-source, I don't have a link named linux pointing to th= e sources, my questions are: It is possible to recreate this link ? If it= is, how ? Which kernel sources are appropriate, I have kernel 2.4.9, but I didn't s= ee any kernel-sources in the apus site, I downloaded kernel-headers versi= on 2.4.17-3, and installed them under /usr/src. Can I use any ppc kernel-source to compile my apps , or Should I get a ke= rnel version 2.4.9 ? In apus, is this the correct procedure ? As you can see I am not sure what to do and if I can save myself from a h= uge useless download, that may not work ... = Regards, Rick = |
