okay, if this works it'll go in the FAQ too :-)

try appending "console=tty0"  to your bootstrap line.  dont know
why you'd have to do this (as in , I dont have to do this) but it should
fix that problem.

uh uh. even *I* got caught out with this :-)  someone sneaked it out
whilst I wasnt looking. 

If you go to the FILES section of the linux-apus homepage (as linked
in the FAQ) you will CLEARLY see that the latest boothack is

bh010623.lha

if you see otherwise, some cache is holding that page in a wierd way
