plip?

Hi all,

i'm trying to setup a plip connection to an old notebook, but it
doesn't work. Does the Amiga parport support this at all? Are there
any kernel/module options i should use?

Both sides give "plip0: timed out (1, 89)" like messages, the
plip-howto suggests that one of the ports might be
unidirectional, but wich one...?
