You have to use the RAW image, otherwise it won't work with MakeCD!

But, btw, didn't other users report problems with 2000 Q4 installation?
Please search the archive about that topic.

Btw: there are several other distros for PowerPC, which have working
installations (Debian, SuSE, ..)!
