DHCPCD Problems with X-Surf Ethernet card

Hi,

I've pretty much manually upgraded all the rpm packages so that I'm now
running YDL 2.1 on my Amiga.  I've also sucessfully been able to get the
source from CVS and compile it and run it on my Amiga (LinuxPPC 2.4.17).
The problem I'm having is that I haven't been able to use the DHCPCD
protocol to get access to the net.  Basically, I've set up a static address
and connected to the net via internet sharing on another machine.  Has any
other user had this problem?
