Well but this also seems to be a non-distro-related problem, more a kernel
issue.

Do you have success with other distros? So, if you want, I can send you the
AZT 2.2.10 kernel, with which you could try to install it.

As I said, seems to be kernel related. Maybe someone more kernel experienced
could answer this?
