Unplugging the mouse has the same effect as not moving it around when it's plugged in. The machine works well until I try to use the serialports of the IOBlix, no matter if it's with a mouse or using a null-modem cable and a terminal program. > 2) Using 2.2 kernel what was your configuration ? > Was you able to use a serial mouse a with that kernel & IOBlix > driver? I have not yet tried this. I'm downloading the 2.2 CVS module from the APUS CVS right now. > 3) Do you use the IOBlix Ethernet module with Linux ? and if yes with > what type > of driver? I have an ethernet module attached to my IOBlix, but to my knowledge there is no suitable driver available for it in linux. I might add that I had several severe stability problems with the IOBlix in AmigaOS until I installed the "recently" released 37.17 drivers. With 37.16 and below, it was very common for the whole computer to freeze when doing very trivial tasks as insering a floppy disk (never a CD-ROM though) or accessing my Melody 1200 (for example playing mp3's over the network with the IOBlix ethernet module). With 37.17 I never experience any hangs caused by the IOBlix in AmigaOS. Thanks for your help. Per Larsson |
