AmigaActive Debian Linux and X

Hello,

I've got a problem with the AmigaActive Debian/GNU Linux distro, when I try
to run X11 it seem's to crash the
machine after it has loaded the wm, how should the mouse be setup ? should
it really be a ps2 /dev/psaux mouse

there is also some corrupt graphics at the top of the 'screen'

any help appreciated.
