Pb with Permedia2

Hi,

i am new to here.Yesterday, i compiled the 2.4.22 kernel and now, the
Permedia2 (via glint driver) works fine under X. But there is another pb
which makes the Permedia2 unusable:each time i return to the console from
KDE (when i push ctr+alf+fn,quit kde or shutdown the system), the amiga
freeze.So, when launching X with the glint driver, it is impossible to halt
the system properly ! Is there a way to solve this problem ?
