linux, amiga partitioning and large harddisks ?

Hello,

I am having troubles with my harddisk and amiga filesystems. I ran
parted on it on x86 (the partition table looks ok under most), but the
box freezes when accesing trying to mke2fs -j the bigger partitions.

The partition table is :

Which are sizes which seem rather suspicious to me.

So does any of you have any experience with running amiga partitions on
bigger disks ? I also get this on my linux/ppc box, both running 2.4.22
kernel.
