After some more testing, i have my uw scsi running without locks.
I disconnected my cdrom (plextor32xultrascsi) and the problems are gone.
I never tried without the cdrom (stupid me;-)).
Is this an error of the low-level driver??? I´ll try the a4000t build in 
scsi next, maybe it works also without.
It is really smoooooth running with the scsi driver, not so slow with 
the ide!
