As I said, I copied my system (approx. 1.3GB) to the UW drive and booted from it whithout any problem. The mean difference I see is that Giorgio and I using the Permedia card and you not. Maybe there is something with the PCI stuff in the driver. Can you send me the compiler warnings you get when the 53c770 is compiled?
