Hi,

I finally updated cvs to 2.4.18. I also committed a patch which should
fix the boot problems. It's only a workaround, but it should avoid the
deadly situations.
Please test it, a precompiled kernel can be found at
http://linux-apus.sf.net/snapshots/.
