Don't use FTP but scp to upload.

scp -C files gt...@li...:/home/groups/l/li/linux-apus/...

You're not forced to in any way, but yes, I think it would be nice. :)

packages at http://people.debian.org/~daenzer/kernel-patch-2.4.6-apus/ ?
