Possible, but it never hurts to try. Well possible that my (minor) changes to
those files broke things so badly :(

It shouldn't. If it doesn't work without, that's a bug.

Note that PCI doesn't work yet in 2.4 . Guess I should also move that to a
branch, unfortunately I don't have time to work at it right now.
