2.3 no go

Hello,

I compiled a 2.3 kernel after switching to 2.95-2 but it won't boot.

Tried all the possible binaries, vmapus, zvmliux and vmliunx compressed 
and decompressed with the latest boothack.

Bootmesg gets to k (K?) but no life after that, no dmesgs are generated
either.
