But with CVS, one can always be up to date with development without needing
much bandwidth.

For the releases, we should just put the diffs to the native kernel there as
well, I really don't see a point in putting the whole tree anywhere.

Please do, and please move stuff to be removed to obsolete instead of removing
it right away. My plan is to remove things from obsolete if we ever run out of
space.

I don't like that. From The Project Page: "Projects may choose to have files
other than their main releases available via anonymous FTP."

I think in the long run, the FTP area should hold nothing more than contrib,
misc etc.
