hi,

what does it mean if you just drop back to your shell after issuing the 

cvs login 

command?

I'm trying on a different machine with direct all-port net access and my
CVSROOT is set correctly to :pserver:etcetc  

this is the same behaviour as my machine at home...which led me to ask
about passwords ;-)

sorry, but whats the syntax for this? I've tried a few combos...and dumped
back to shell is all i get after password prompt/answer
