the 2.3.x porting "project"

So I heard that somebody was working on porting 2.3.x to APUS, and
obviously that was 2.3.99 or something....

anyway, assuming this person has subscribed to the new list, would you
mind telling me what you've already done... what is working / what is not
working+++ ???

I for one is willing to "work" on this "project" aswell...... and I guess
there's others too who might join in..... (if so, would those persons mind
letting us know? ;)

DRI/DRM needs 2.3.x in order to work, that is, if we don't port it BACK to
2.2.x
