Hello Sven I would like to try the 2.6 kernel but because of my PPP problems have been unable to download it, so I may have to sort this problem out. My problem is when I try to connect the computer just freezes (before dialing). I have had no problems with using my modem on the AmigaOS side (through Genesis which came with OS3.9) and through Mac emulation (using FreePPP) in both these cases I use the generic modem setup. I also read that you can use files that you have downloaded to Amiga partitions, but I have only found information for doing this on FFS partitions and I use PFS. Although I do think it would be better to just get my PPP setup going in LInux rather than going around it this way. Any ideas?
