Hello, I installed Debian 3.0 on my Amiga 1200PPC. I'm using the latest boothack and latest kerenel (2.4.20). It installed fine, I configured the keyboard (selectec US keyboard) , the main and swap partitions, then I selected the install base system option and the base packages got installed from my SCSI cdrom. Then I rebooted the system and booted with the following command: bootstrap --apus -k vmlinux root=/dev/hda6 video=pm2fb:mode:800x600-60 nobats 60nsram The boot process starts OK, but it freezes on this part: *Setting the system clock using the hardware clock as reference.* I have to reset after, booted without startup-sequence and ran dmesg to get the log of the boot process and send it here, however the dmesg tool always tell me: *Searching for saveKMSG magic... Not found* BTW, the Algor and powerflyer are disabled when booting. My System specs: Amiga 1200T 603/240, 060/50, SCSI II, Yamaha 8824SCSI CDRW, Plextor 40X SCSI CDROM, Fujitsu 36GB 10KRPM SCSI HD, BVisionPPC, 256 MB FASTRAM, PowerFlyer EIDE, Scandex external scandoubler, ZIV busboard, Algor USB, Xsurf ethernet, Var I/O, Delfina Flipper sound card, Trendnet 56K external modem, Logitech optical mouse, 60 GB IDE HD space, AmigaOS 3.9 BB2 Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks Daniel |
