hi! I'm new here so i will come directly to my question: I'm a writer for the amiga Magazine amigaFututre (www.amigafuture.de) and i had to write an linux installation article for my magazine. So here is my problem i had downloaded the actually stuff from apus sourceforge for the installation and the linux installation boots from my amiga. the first part of the installation works fine but when he checks the debain cdrom (that works also fine, he finds the files he need) the he tried to make the boot disks. This happend in an error where he writes he could't make the disks and after that he says he would install the main files for the debian linux system on my amiga ... and than he says he couldn't "unmount" (in german aushängen) the "/instmnt" partition and therefore he goes back in the installation prozess to the point where i can decide from with source i would install. can anybody help me please to solve this problem... thanks a lot! bye siegfried |
